About Meridian Housing Authority

The Meridian Housing Authority was incorporated in 1939 and provides affordable housing opportunities to more than 3,000 residents in the City of Meridian. The agency currently administers 1214 public housing units, 215 Housing Choice Vouchers and 89 privately owned apartments.

To provide affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary housing with reasonable accommodations for eligible citizens of Meridian, Mississippi and programs that promote self-sufficiency, empowerment and respect.
